Dr Ian Bills completed his training at the Adelaide University Dental School in 1976. Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons was attained in 1980.
Broad experience in general dentistry and attendance at numerous seminars has resulted in an interest in the surgical and prosthetic management of complex cases requiring the use of Dental Implants. He has been involved with Implant prosthetics for over 35 years and implant surgery for 33 years.
Ian is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, a member of the Australian Osseointegration Society and the American Academy of Osseointegration. He has been a Visiting Clinical Lecturer to the University of Adelaide, is a Senior Clinical Associate (Periodontics)at the University of Sydney, and a Visiting staff member of the Branemark Osseointegration Centre in Perth through which he has been involved in a number of studies and clinical trials including the development of the Guided surgery procedure.
Ian has conducted numerous Training Courses and Workshops in the field of Dental Implants, and has lectured extensively in Australia as well as New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Hong Kong and Thailand. He has been an examiner for the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons and has conducted a Mentorship Program for Dentists wanting to learn more about Dental Implants for 20 years.
